Who are you, what do you do, where do you come from?

Hi, I’m Jillimune, I’m an electronic music producer & DJ from Brisbane, Australia, but am originally from Coolum Beach, Australia. I began producing music after being inspired by another Aussie music producer named Flume, you might have heard of him.

What have you achieved so far and what are your goals for the future?

I’ve achieved creating a sound that I believe is unique and that I enjoy creating. I also greatly appreciate the fact that other people enjoy the sound as well. If people enjoy the Jillimune project in any way, that’s the best thing I can achieve.

I have goals to continue making music with creators with work and personalities I admire. I also aspire to find new art forms and new methods of creating thoughts and feelings within people to create a spark within them to do and create more. I also wish to grow my platform and be an advocate for change within the biggest issues this generation is facing/will face, I always remember seeing people with large platforms and wondering why they never used their position to push in the correct direction. I only enjoy making music and future growth is just a bonus, I wish to only have the Jillimune project cast a positive influence and give more than it takes.

What makes you special?

Nothing really apart from my creative drive. I have maybe a thousand ideas per day whether for a business, app, melody, a lyric, or anything. Apart from that, I’m your regular Aussie artist.
